On Tuesday, April 26th, the Colorado BERNFest was held at The Oriental Theater in Denver, a grassroots event that was organized by Devon Parker to raise money for the Bernie Sanders campaign. Local musicians, artists, and guest speakers came out in support of the fundraiser. Music included members of The Samples, The Motet, Tiger Party, Pete Pidgeon and Arcoda, and many, many more. Local artists painted portraits of Sanders during the evening, which were then auctioned off. A voter registration station was in the house, local politicians spoke to attendees about their passionate support of Sanders, and music filled the air. BERNFest raised about $10,000, all of which was donated to the Bernie Sanders campaign.
Watch part of that evening as Pete Pidgeon and Arcoda were joined by Gabe Mervine of The Motet on trumpet, and Scooter Vineburgh on percussion.
