Dead Of Winter: Holly Bowling To Join Phil Lesh And Friends Tonight At Terrapin Crossroads

Classic pianist Holly Bowling will be joining Phil Lesh tonight at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, California. Lesh is currently hosting ‘Dead of Winter’, a five night celebration of the music of the Grateful Dead. Each evening features Lesh backed by a rotating cast of his musical friends. Tonight’s band includes: Phil Lesh, Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz, Cass McCombs, Ross James, Holly Bowling, and Jay Lane.

Bowling’s exploration of the music of the Grateful Dead can be heard on her latest album ‘BETTER LEFT UNSUNG: The Music of the Grateful Dead reimagined for solo piano’, which is available now via Royal Potato Family. Since the release of the album in late 2016 Bowling has shared the stage with the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh and Bob Wier on seperate occasions.
