Holly Bowling Announces Shows During Phish’s Baker’s Dozen
Classical pianist, Holly Bowling, will be performing four shows at the Cutting Room in New York City during Phish’s thirteen date Bakers Dozen residency at Madison Square Garden. Well known for her solo piano arrangements of the music of Phish and the Grateful Dead, Bowling’s NYC residency will feature her performing special pieces at each show.
Opening her residency at the Cutting Room on July 22, Bowling will perform her arrangement of Phish’s “Tahoe Tweezer” from 7/31/13. July 23 and August 6 Bowling will perform a Gamehendge Suite, based around the music and mythology of Phish frontman Trey Anastasio’s senior thesis/concept album “The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday.” Finally, on August 5, attendees will be treated to Bowling’s interpretation of Phish’s “The Wedge” from 07/20/14 in Chicago.
